H.E. Dr. Barmaki, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kenya, while enumerating the achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran despite conspiracies and obstacles Created by enemies with imposed war and sanctions and economic terrorism of maximum pressure and in the latest example of combined war during the past 44 years, emphasized the need to improve relations with the Republic of Kenya and considered the consolidation of friendly relations between the two countries as essential.
The special guest of the event, representing the government of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency Mr. Ambassador Josphat Maikara, secretary for Foreign Services, While congratulating on this occasion, stated that despite all the problems it has faced, the Islamic Republic of Iran is now one of the world powers, especially in science, technology, and industry. Iran is one of the most important trading partners of the republic of Kenya and one of the largest importers of Kenyan tea. It is necessary to join hands and strengthen these friendly relations even more.
On the sidelines of this ceremony, an exhibition of precious Iranian stamps, coins, and banknotes was held, and a number of Iranian leather carpets were awarded to the attendees as prizes.
